Easy Tips to Lose Weight

Losing weight is not about taking diet pills and other formulas to make your body drop pounds.  It is about having discipline to maintain a healthy body.  There are three simple things you need to do if you want to lose weight.  These include eat healthy, exercise, and drink a lot of water.

Eating healthy doesn’t just mean you need to eat fruits and vegetables.  Some people hate fruit and vegetables.  If you are one of these people, try to find a way to cook them to make them tastier. The best way to eat veggies is to steam them.  Adding seasonings is okay to steamed veggies.  The fat comes in when you add a ton of butter.  Stay away from the excessive butter.  Fruits are good too.  However, don’t eat apples with caramel and strawberries with chocolate.  Keep the fat out.  Although, veggies are healthy and will help you lose weight, eating is about the size of portion you put on your plate.  If your plate is overflowing and you are going back for seconds, there is a problem here and it will be impossible to drop any pounds.  It is like ordering a diet coke with a fattening meal in a fast food restaurant.  What’s the point?  Cut down on portions and eat less.  Try chewing your food slower.  You will actually get full faster and eat less. It really works.

Exercise is another important factor to losing weight.  Don’t use the excuse you don’t have time to exercise.  You can exercise at your desk if you have to.  A simple jaunt around the office on your lunch hour is good for daily exercise also.  If you are trying to lose weight because your US immigration forms were approved and you feel like a new you, get up and exercise.  Not only will you be happy about passing US citizenship exam in USCIS, but you will be happier with a healthier new you.  All you need to do is exercise 15 minutes a day to lose weight.  Fifteen minutes of walking is acceptable too.  You don’t have to run as fast as you can for 15 minutes.  Although, the best exercise to lose weight quickly is cardio.  A hard workout will make you drop the pounds faster.  Running is the best exercise for quick weight loss.

Water is vital to weight loss.  If you are drinking a lot of soda or tea all day long because you don’t like water, it is going to be more difficult to drop the pounds.  That is because caffeinated drinks are diuretics.  A diuretic makes your body retain water and weight.  Drink a lot of water and flush your body out.

Losing weight is simple to do.  There is no reason to take a lot of diet pills.  These are just addicting and can cause problems with your body.  All you need to do is eat smart, exercise daily, and drink a lot of water.  These things will help you lose weight faster than any chemical and it is a healthier approach to losing weight.
